“बहुत हैं जिन्होंने कसम खाया हुआ है हम श्रीमत पर नहीं चलेंगे। वह छिपे नहीं रहते। कोई की तकदीर में नहीं है तो देह–अभिमान पहले थप्पड़ लगाता है फिर है काम। काम नहीं तो क्रोध, लोभ है। हैं तो सभी दुश्मन। मोह भी ऐसी चीज़ है जो बिल्कुल ही सत्यानाश कर देता है। लोभ भी कम नहीं है। बड़े कड़े दुश्मन हैं।”
“There are many who have taken an oath that they will not follow shrimat. Such ones cannot remain hidden. When it is not in their fortune, they are first slapped by body consciousness and then by lust. If not lust, then there is anger or greed. All of these vices are your enemies. Attachment is also such that it totally destroys all truth. Greed is no less. These are very powerful enemies.”
“माया बहुत उल्टे काम कराती है। कितना भी समझाओ फिर भी आदत मिटती नहीं है। कोई नाम रूप में फँस पड़ते हैं। देह–अभिमान के कारण नाम रूप में भी आ जाते हैं। हर एक सेन्टर का बाबा को सारा मालूम रहता है ना। बाबा भी क्या करे, समझाना तो पड़े।”
“Maya makes them perform many wrong actions. No matter how much is explained to them, they do not break their habits. Some are trapped in name and form. Because of body consciousness, they become trapped in name and form. Baba knows everything about all the centres. What can Baba do? He has to explain.”
“ईश्वर का बनकर फिर भी माया के वश हो जाते हैं। कोई न कोई विकर्म कर लेते हैं, तब बाप कहते हैं प्रतिज्ञा तो बहुत बच्चे करते हैं कि बाबा हम आपकी श्रीमत पर जरूर चलेंगे, परन्तु चलते नहीं हैं इसलिए माला देखो कितनी छोटी बनती है, बाकी तो है प्रजा। कितनी बड़ी मंजिल है, इसमें दिल की बड़ी सफाई चाहिए।”
“After belonging to God, they are caught by Maya and then perform one sinful action or other. This is why the Father says: Many children promise Baba: I will definitely follow Your shrimat, but they don’t follow it. Therefore, just look how small the rosary is! All the rest are subjects. The destination is so high. Cleanliness of the heart is required for this.”
“प्रतिज्ञा करते हैं तो उस पर चलना पड़े ना। माया के भूतों को भगाना है। देह–अभिमान के पीछे सब भूत चटक जाते हैं। बाबा कहते हैं देही–अभिमानी बन बाप को याद करो। उसमें भी सवेरे–सवेरे बैठ बातें करो। बाबा की महिमा करो।”
“You have to fulfil the promise you make to chase away the evil spirits of Maya. After you become body conscious, all the other evil spirits also cling to you. Baba says: Become soul conscious and remember the Father. In that, too, sit and talk to Baba early in the morning. Praise Baba.”
